Richard Boudreau
Sales Representative
With Warfield-Rohr since 2007
Richard enjoys working in sales for a small family business. He believes that the customer service that Warfield-Rohr shows customers is unlike any other, thus making his job of selling caskets much easier.
Richard has worked in casket sales most of his adult life. He currently calls on customers in Northern Virginia and Western Virginia.
He lives in Northern Virginia, with his wife and son, while his daughter and son-in-law live in Tampa, Florida. Having grown up in Massachusetts, Richard is an avid supporter of Boston sports teams, especially the Red Sox and Patriots. In his free time, he enjoys golfing.
Kevin Brown
Sales Representative - Licensed Funeral Director
With Warfield-Rohr since 2018
Kevin is a licensed funeral director in the Commonwealth of Virginia and a certified pre-planning counselor with more than twenty-eight years of successful management experience in the funeral service industry. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation within the profession by maintaining the integrity, confidence and trust of both his employers and the families that he has served.
Kevin earned an A.A.S. in Business Management from Dabney S. Lancaster Community College and an A.A.S. in Funeral Service from John Tyler Community College. After licensure, Kevin volunteered to serve on numerous committees of the Virginia Funeral Directors Association and also served for three years on VFDA’s Board of Directors. In addition to VFDA service on the state level, Kevin has served on the district level, first as Secretary and later as President of the Southside Funeral Directors Association.
Kevin is a life long Virginian, raised in Covington, he now resides in the Lynchburg area with his wife of thirty-three years, Angel Nida Brown. Kevin and Angel are the proud parents of two adult sons, Tyler and Evan. Kevin is actively involved with community and charitable organizations such as the Masonic Lodge, Shriners and St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Lynchburg.
Rick Cantrell
Office Manager
With Warfield-Rohr since 1992
During his time at Warfield, Rick has worked in many different positions in the company. He began as a delivery driver, became warehouse manager, and then replaced the legendary Charlie Herb, as office manager, in 2011. Rick’s vast knowledge of everything from product to delivery routes allows him to assist funeral directors in all of their casket ordering needs.
When you call to place an order with Warfield-Rohr, you are most likely going to speak to Rick, he is an invaluable asset to all of us here and we greatly appreciate all that he does for the company.
John Dongarra
Warehouse Manager
With Warfield-Rohr since 1984
John is Warfield-Rohr’s longest serving employee, he began as a delivery driver and now oversees day-to-day operations in the warehouse. He oversees shipping and receiving of caskets, repairing, and managing our fleet of delivery vehicles.
John’s experience in this field is second to none and we are truly grateful to have him as part of our team, with him directing shipping we can rest assured that you, the Funeral Director, will receive the casket you ordered in perfect condition and on time.
Drew Osmeyer
Sales Representative - Licensed Funeral Director
With Warfield-Rohr since 2012
Drew and his cousins, Jonathan and Kevin, are the sixth generation of family to work at Warfield-Rohr. His desire to work for the company arose from an early understanding and appreciation of the importance of family owned businesses, especially in the Funeral Profession, and he would like to see his family’s company thrive for another six generations. Growing up around so many funeral director friends of his grandparents and parents had a great influence on him, the immense respect that he has for these people has been an impetus for him to join his family in working in this profession.
Drew is a 2007 graduate of Loyola Blakefield in Towson, Maryland. In 2011, he earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Operations Management from the University of Maryland, College Park. Upon graduation, he worked in boat sales and directed online and print marketing for Beacon Light Marina in Middle River, Maryland.
Drew went on to attend the Community College of Baltimore County’s Mortuary Science Program and graduated in August of 2015. After passing his National Board Exams, he served his apprenticeship at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Service in Glen Burnie, Maryland. He received his morticians license from the state of Maryland in July of 2016. Drew is a Past President of the Maryland State Funeral Directors Association and Tri-County Funeral Directors Association.
Drew also holds a United States Coast Guard, 50-Ton Masters Captains License and in his free time, enjoys boating, fishing and SCUBA diving. He lives in Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland with his wife, Caroline.
Michael Osmeyer
Vice President
With Warfield-Rohr since 1986
Having worked at Warfield-Rohr for over 25 years, Michael realizes that the funeral profession and funeral supply industry are unlike any other. He greatly appreciates the friendships that he has made with customers over the years and has always been impressed with what he calls the “Fraternity of Funeral Directors” and the support that they have always shown Warfield-Rohr. Michael strives to help run and grow a small, family business, much like many of funeral home owners. He is proud of Warfield-Rohr’s long, family-owned history and is always passing along advice to his son Drew, and nephews Jonathan and Kevin to ensure a strong future for the company.
Michael was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Towson, Maryland. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1977. During his time at Maryland he was a proud member and chapter president of the Delta Upsilon International Fraternity.
After graduating from college, Michael held a variety of jobs ranging from dump truck driver to foreman at Eastern Stainless Steel. After marrying his wife, Gail, in 1986 he was offered employment at Warfield-Rohr Casket Company by his father-in-law, Howard Ayres. He began his career at Warfield-Rohr as a delivery driver and is now the company treasurer. Michael also spends a great deal of time calling on funeral homes in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Michael enjoys the Chesapeake Bay and the Florida Keys, farmland, architectural preservation and his family. He is an active supporter of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity at the University of Maryland and Maryland Terrapin athletics.
John Rosenberger
President
With Warfield-Rohr since 1982
In 1982, John was welcomed into the company by his father-in-law, W. Howard Ayres, shortly after marrying his daughter Carol. He has watched the company grow to welcome his sons Jonathan and Kevin as well as his brother-in-law, Michael, and nephew, Andrew. Through John’s many years of service he has developed unparalleled relationships with clients as well as cultivated a wealth of knowledge about the funeral industry.
He is the current President of The York Distributors’ Association. He has sat on product committees for Matthews International. He is a past president of the Maryland State Funeral Directors’ Suppliers’ Association. John is a 1974 graduate of Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Maryland and after graduation he went on to attend the University of Baltimore.
John and Carol live in Glen Arm, Maryland with their two dachshunds, Lilly and Bailey. They have three children, Jonathan, Kevin, and Jenny. Outside of the office, John enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and fishing.
Jonathan Rosenberger
Treasurer
With Warfield-Rohr since 2007
Jonathan began his career at Warfield-Rohr long before he started working full time in 2007. As soon as he acquired a driver’s license his grandfather, the late W. Howard Ayres, had him delivering caskets, unloading trailers and helping out with warehouse work. These years of working from the ground up instilled a great respect for ensuring that quality and service are at the forefront of what Warfield-Rohr stands for. Today Jonathan is Vice President of the company and oversees many aspects of the business including Customer Relations, Sales, Inventory Management, Showroom Merchandising, Showroom Layout Design, and IT. Along with his brother Kevin and cousin Drew, Jonathan is proud to be continuing a legacy of family based service and quality at Warfield-Rohr.
Jonathan is a 2003 graduate of Calvert Hall College in Towson, Maryland, where he played Tight End for the Football Team and was a member of the National Honor Society. In 2007 he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration from Towson University. Jonathan and his wife Tara married in 2011 and they currently live north of Baltimore. In his spare time Jonathan enjoys boating, golfing, fishing and following Baltimore sports teams.
Kevin Rosenberger
Sales Representative
With Warfield-Rohr since 2009
Kevin Rosenberger is a member of the 6th generation of family members to work at Warfield-Rohr Casket Company. He has been driven to become a part of this family tradition since visiting his grandfather, W. Howard Ayres, as a young child. Growing up, he spent many weekends working along side his father in Warfield-Rohr’s office. Since joining the company full time in 2009, Kevin has grown in his appreciation for the many elements that go into the operation of Warfield-Rohr. Amongst the many joys of working at Warfield-Rohr is the opportunity to work along side his father, brother, uncle, cousin, and all the dedicated staff and clients of Warfield-Rohr that have become his extended family.
Kevin is a 2005 graduate of Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Maryland where he excelled athletically in soccer and golf. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Sports’ Management with a minor in Business from Towson University in 2009.
Kevin and his wife Sarah live in Towson, Maryland. In his leisure time, Kevin enjoys watching the Ravens and Orioles, playing golf, and travelling to Cape Cod to visit Sarah’s family.
David Salmon
Sales Representative - Licensed Funeral Director
With Warfield-Rohr since 1994
David has had a long career working in the funeral profession as both a funeral director and in casket sales. During his career he has made many lifelong friendships with funeral directors all over the Delmarva Peninsula and beyond. He is well respected, especially for his vast knowledge of caskets from manufacturing to merchandising as well as an in-depth understanding of funeral directing in general. David has also been a great asset in preparing the next generation of Warfield-Rohr family members to begin their careers in casket sales, by relating his years of experience to them.
David attended Catonsville Community College, School of Mortuary Science and graduated in 1980. In 1982 he became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the state of Delaware.
Since 1983, David has worked in the casket industry as a sales representative. Today, he is based out of Dover, Delaware and calls on customers in Maryland and Delaware.
He is a past president of the Delmarva Funeral Service Association and served many years on the Continuing Education Committee for the Delaware State Board of Funeral Service.
During his free time, David enjoys fishing, boating and enjoying Delmarva and the Chesapeake Bay.
Liz Skenderovic
Administrative Assistant
With Warfield-Rohr since 1995
Liz assists Rick in the day-to-day operations of the office with everything from order taking to accounts receivable and accounts payable. In addition to working in the office, Liz runs sewing room operations and helps with customization and embroidery.
Liz’s hard work and dedication, as well as her amazing ability on a sewing machine make her an integral part of Warfield’s team, and we are all extremely luck to work along side of her.
Allen Thompson
Sales Representative - Licensed Funeral Director
With Warfield-Rohr since 1994
During his time with Warfield-Rohr, Allen has enjoyed working closely with his customers and friends. With his years of experience he has been able to assist them not only in casket selection, but also in several other areas including selection room procedures, cremation merchandising, how to better provide funeral related services and general business practices. Being a licensed funeral director and having worked in caskets sales for over 35 years makes Allen one of the most respected and knowledgeable sales representatives in the industry.
Allen is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and has been a licensed funeral director in the state of Maryland for more than forty years.
During the first years of his career, Allen was associated with the Tyson Wheeler Funeral Home in Rockville, Maryland and then with Joseph Gawler’s Sons in Washington D. C. While working at Gawlers, he attended the management course at the National Foundation of Funeral Service in Evanston, Illinois. He later returned to manage Tyson Wheeler Funeral Home.
Allen has worked as a casket sales representative since 1980. Currently, he calls on funeral home in Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and West Virginia.
